There is a tremendous amount of value in being able to have people read or click on a link from a email but so many people get their email deleted without it being read or just having it glanced at.

- Terrible email titles – generic, bland and no call to action
- The first two sentences do not say anything. These emails are not the place to say “Hi – hope all is well”. Get to the point immediately
- Have a Goal – really. So many of these emails have multiple calls to action, tangents and more.
These emails need to be focused, brief, and any links should lead to a page where the next call to action is clear and related to the email.
